Welcome to Albany Avenue Elementary School, where students are encouraged to dream big, work hard, and celebrate who they are. It is an honor to serve the Lindenhurst community, a place I am proud to call my professional home. Before becoming Principal, I had the pleasure of serving as Assistant Principal here at Albany Avenue, after many years as both a classroom teacher and a STEM educator. These experiences shaped my belief that learning should be active, joyful, student-centered, and grounded in both creativity and rigor.

At Albany Avenue, we are committed to creating a school community where every child feels welcomed, valued, and inspired. Our full K–5 dual-language continuum, rich literacy experiences, and meaningful hands-on learning provide students with strong academic foundations. Our schoolwide house system deepens this work by fostering belonging, leadership, and character, ensuring that every student is part of our connected and supportive school family.

We also believe that preparing students to be future-ready means nurturing curiosity, collaboration, communication, and responsible technology use. Our teachers empower students to think critically, problem solve, and create, helping them develop the skills they need to thrive both today and in an ever-changing world.

It is a privilege to partner with our families, staff, and community as we work together to support every child’s growth. Albany Avenue is truly the home of achievers, and I look forward to another year filled with learning, discovery, and pride in all that our students will accomplish.
